Chris Ward began his martial arts experience back in High School when he studied Isshinryu Karate in the Chicago Area. However, his family moved to the Southwest and it would be until his son was 5 that he started to look into studying again as something to do with his family. A friend introduced him to Master Elliott at church and he visited the Dojang to watch a Kid's and Adult class. From the first moment, he was hooked. The elegance and simplicity of the system wasn't just about the forms nor the amount of techniques. Instead it was the entire system that incorporated distance, close in, and ground fighting. Also, the way Master Elliott taught the kids impressed him so that he signed up Aaron as well. Now studying from distant Maricopa, Chris is the Pastor of Calvary Chapel in Maricopa. He is also a member of the Pinal County Sheriff's Posse.
